Every necklace begins on my workbench here in Noosa.

Before I make a single piece, I carefully lay out every freshwater pearl, natural stone and bead by hand. I spend time selecting each one for its colour, shape and character, because I believe the beauty of a necklace comes from the little details most people never notice.

Once I've chosen the perfect combination, I arrange every bead one by one until the colours, spacing and proportions feel just right. Only then do I begin threading the necklace by hand onto durable jewellery wire, securing each end with precision before attaching the clasp and finishing every detail myself.

Before I place a necklace into its Claire Bennet Jewellery box, I inspect it one final time. I check that every pearl sits beautifully, every clasp closes smoothly and every necklace drapes naturally when worn. If something doesn't meet my standards, I take it apart and make it again.

I don't believe jewellery should be rushed. I believe the pieces you wear every day deserve time, patience and genuine care.
